Due to continued hazardous road conditions and expected additional winter precipitation during the school day, the Athena-Weston School District will be CLOSED today, Thursday, January 18, 2024.

Due to icy road conditions and expected low temperatures overnight, the Athena-Weston School District will be on a 2-HOUR DELAY tomorrow, Thursday, January 18, 2024. School will begin at 10am for all students. Bus route pick up times will be approximately 2 hours later than normal. As a reminder, breakfast will not be served when there is a 2-hour delay.
We will reassess conditions in the morning and will follow up with further information by 8am should there be a need to cancel individual bus routes or close school. Thank you.

We are excited to host Breaking Down the Walls, a nationally recognized program, tomorrow at WMHS. Nearly 1 million students across North and Central America have had the opportunity to experience Breaking Down the Walls in the past 30 years!
It will be an interactive and fun day to focus on our school climate and culture. This unique opportunity will help foster TigerScot Pride and we encourage all students to participate.
