Agriculture Biology and Plant Science released the Coho Salmon that they raised this year in the classroom into the Umatilla River. Students were able to work with biologists and specialists from the Umatilla Indian Reservation, Walla Walla Watershed Council, and Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife to learn about water quality, fish health, and fish spawning. It was a wonderful day of hands -on learning!
