On Saturday, January 27, the WMHS "CommuniCare" Club and WMHS Honor Society will sponsor two showings of a classic 1970s Bigfoot film at the Athena Gem Theatre. The film was produced by Ron Olson, Mr. Olson's dad and it was distributed and shown around the world. Ron will be on hand for the showing.
This is a joint fundraiser between CommuniCare (an arm of the Schnitzer Foundation) and Honor Society. For each dollar raised up to $750 total, CommuniCare will receive ten dollars. The proceeds will be granted out to area food banks.
Admission is $10 per person at the door, including popcorn. The first showing is at 3 p.m. and the second showing is at 7 p.m.
