WMHS Juniors embarked on an Educational Industry Tour to Port of Morrow, Boardman, Oregon on Monday. The tour, organized in collaboration with POM Workforce development, toured  Lamb Weston and Port of Morrow Warehousing.Students received a guided tour of Lamb Westons processing and manufacturing facilities, interacting with professionals from the food processing sector.  Next they toured the Port of Morrow Warehousing, exploring the warehousing and distribution operations.  Students also toured the local Sage center and learned more about the economic impact the Port of Morrow has on the local community and the broader region. School to Careers hosts class Industry tours in hopes of exposing students to regional industries to help them make more informed career choices and understand the importance of industries like these in our local and global economies.Thank you to POM for hosting WMHS!!!
