After a four year hiatus, the Tri County Band Festival is reconvening on Wednesday, April 5 in Pilot Rock. This festival brings together all of the small high school bands from Umatilla, Morrow and Sherman Counties to be assembled into one big band, directed by a University level conductor and an evening concert at 6:30. For many students it is the only opportunity they will have to play in a big band. It is a meaningful experience, I am very happy that we can bring it back.
