It is Thursday February 7th and the sun is still shining!

Today for lunch we will be having pizza sticks and yogurt.  Tomorrow it’s PBJ/ Turkey sandwiches.

For Sports: Wrestling Regionals are on Friday and will be held at Madras.  Friday basetball teams will be playing Stanfield with a start time of 3:00 pm.  We will be honoring senior athletes and pipes and drums players between boys and girls varisty games.

EOU has a technology EXPO  March 7th.  Please sign-up in the Library

There will be a Spring Blood Drive on March 4th here at the high school in the gym.  Please sign up in the office.

Students who want Mr. Reger to find a practicum for the second term of Friday schedules beginning March 1st. please sign up in the office.  You need to know if you want a half or whole day, morning or afternoon times.  Please have a couple of general ideas for practicum.

Want to win some cash?  Maybe some movie tickets at Wild Horse with concession passes?  Yellowhawk is holding a "How to Keep a Heart Healthy" digital story writing contest.  Deadline to submit is Tuesday, February, 12th.  Stop by the office for more info.

Surprise your sweetie, co-worker, family, or friend with a chance to kiss a baby pig.  This costs $15 and supports the TigerScots senior class sober party.  You will receive a photo for you and your valentine.  For more information, contact any Weston-McEwen senior or parent.  This takes place on February 14 from 9am-5pm.

BMCC Reps will be here during lunch in the commons to visit with interested students Tuesday Feb 12.  Stop by and get some information!

Mrs. Quaresma is looking for volunteers for Science Night at the elementary on Feb. 28th from 5-7 pm.  She is looking for students to run activities.  All volunteers will be fed pizza.  Please sign up in the office.

Still time to book your flights to London, Paris, and Rome!!  Even graduating seniors age 20 by the summer of 2020 may go at student fare price!  See Mr. Taylor for details.  Next parent meeting Tuesday Feb 9th at 6:00 pm.  Meet at the front of the high school.

FFA has a chapter meeting at lunch February 13th in the AG room. Lunch will be provided.

All students taking dual credit courses need to pay their 1st semester bills at BMCC before you will be allowed to sign up for the 2nd semester dual credit courses.  Registration Deadline for the 2nd semester course is March 15th
