Good morning!  It’s Monday and the start to another new day.

Today for lunch we will be serving chicken sandwiches and tater tots.  For tomorrow HAYSTACKS!   All our lunches have a salad bar to pick and choose from.

Monday:  JV Football - 4 pm start.  We will play 1/2 against Heppner and 1/2 against Umatilla.

C Volleyball is at Mac-Hi.  4 pm. start.

Tuesday :  Volleyball (all teams) at Heppner - 4 pm start.  

Thursday:  Cross country at Helix - start time 1 pm start for middle school, high school to follow.

Volleyball (Varsity only) at Union.  5 pm. start.

Friday:  Cross country at Mac-Hi - 

Football at Heppner - start time 7 pm.

We will be honoring senior volleyball players on Tuesday October 16th at the home game vs Enterprise.

The City of Athena is doing a flu shot clinic Tuesday October 9th from 9-11 am.  Please pre-register at City Hall to guarantee insurance acceptance and that they have enough vaccinations available.

Wednesday October 10th will be PSAT SAT ASVAB testing in the morning here at the high school.   Please Eat a good breakfast, come early and get lots of rest the night before.

There will be a National Honor Society meeting at lunch in Mrs. McIntyre's room on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 @ LUNCH.  Please bring your lunch.  We will be discussing the fall Blood Drive and proposing persons for offices.

Mrs. Quaresma is looking for students to help with the elementary Fall Festival on Thursday October 11, 2018 from 5-7 pm.  Please let the office know if you’re willing to help!

Picture retakes are next Monday, October 15th.  If you need a packet, please stop by the office.

There is a financial aid night for seniors and their parents on October 17, 2018.  There is a presentation as 6:00-6:30 pm and a work session from 6:30-7:30pm in the WMHS Library.

 2019 Umatilla County Fair Court Applications are in the office.  The applications have an October 26th deadline.  Stop in and grab one today!

Athena Public Library is starting a Teen Advisory Board and we want YOU to apply!  Teen Advisory Board (TAB) members are students in grades 7-12 in Athena-Weston Schools.  TAB members meet once a month and get to plan programs, suggest books to purchase, volunteer and eat pizza!  This would be excellent for your Milestones and looks great on college applications.  Stop by the library to get an application!
