It is Friday April 19th

Today for lunch we will be having pb/j or turkey sandwiches.

For sport this week: Today: Softball at Union 11:00 am.  Baseball vs Heppner 2:00 pm.   Saturday: Track at Union 11:00 am.

Umatilla County is hiring flaggers for the summer.  You must be 18+ to apply.  Please stop by the office for more information, a full job description, or an application.

Local scholarships are available, pick up in the Career Center in the Library.

Challenger Little League team is in need of volunteer buddies. Games will be Sunday nights from 6-7pm starting April 14th- June 2nd. This team is for children with special needs age 5-18. Would make a great milestone activity. No previous baseball/softball experience necessary. Contact Sherry Lambert 541-310-7851 if you are interested.

There is an FBI Teen Academy taking place July 8-12.  They are offering 30 spots for students who will be Juniors or Seniors for the 2019/2020 year.  Please stop by the office for more info.

Anyone interested in Cheer there will be a meeting on Thursday the 25th at 3:00 pm in Griggs’ room.  This will be a short 15 min meeting to pass out paperwork.

If you have any F’s the day of prom, you will not be let in.  Get your work done and get it turned in.

Conferences for the high school will take place on Monday April 22nd from 3:30-7:30 PM.  No appointment necessary.

The Anderson/Perry/City of Weston scholarship is now available at the library.

There will be an Earth Day locker decorating contest on April 26th.  Decorate your locker with themes such as reducing single use plastic, saving wildlife, etc. The winner of each class will win a $25 Wildhorse gift card.

Ellie Schiebner is a Blue Mountain award finalist for scholar athlete.

Tessa Irvine jumped 2'9" in her equestrian competition.  Her performance at the district
meets in this event earn her a Silver (second place overall) Medal for the
season and she qualified for State in May!

FFA officer applications are due April 23rd.

Release Date
